Remember the last time a soldier sacrificed his life? Well, we don’t even remember what happened yesterday, and most of us really don’t bother to bother enough about what’s going on the borders!
Names like Capt Deepak Singh and Capt Brijesh Thapa get somewhere lost and unnoticed because we are more concerned about the Coldplay concerts! The idea behind writing this length of an article wasn’t to be sarcastic but to be more realistic about the current J&K situation. With the number of attacks that have been made by our so called neighbour in the past few months is a quick reminder that we can’t really take this casually!
What can we do? Not all of us are soldiers… fair enough! Can we stand for them? Can our social media stories talk more about our own soldiers and country situations? I think all of it is possible but we choose to talk about the matters that make us stand cooler in our circles.
Thanks to Mr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar for always putting up India’s stand clear on world forums and making us proud. Here’s a powerful statement that deserves an applaud, “A premier example is our neighbour, Pakistan. Unfortunately, their misdeeds affect others as well, especially the neighbourhood. When this polity instils such fanaticism among its people, its GDP can only be measured in terms of radicalization and its exports in the form of terrorism.”

We could totally make his viewpoint viral on our social media and make enough racket to give the neighbors some chills—what do you think? It will be a more entertaining saga than a Coldplay concert!
